About us

Hello there! 

My name is Erin and I am the creator and owner of Hestia’s Nest. I opened up this little shop in the beginning of 2018, shortly after I discovered a love for needle felting and making little wooly critters. I still create and sell felted animals, but I have since expanded the offerings of my store to include enamel pins, bags, and home decor. 

Although I sometimes enjoy creating art that is realistic and true to life, my greatest love is in making things that are cute and fun, and perhaps a bit whimsical. Ultimately my goal with Hestia’s Nest is to create items that spread a little happiness and make people smile. 

I draw inspiration from a wide range of subjects, but usually from the things I love most: art, food, history, cats, movies, books, flowers, and vintage fashion to name a few. 

When I am not creating items for my shop, I can usually be found hanging out with my husband Matthew and our three kitties: Gus, Xanthe, and Jules. I also enjoy baking, doing cross stitch, reading, going on walks, and eating delicious sweets.
